I can't see how a manual override would in any way spoil the current automatic function. It would just add a bit more flexibility to runways were they are close together such as 28 and 31 at Blackpool. For most of the approach to the airfield it is showing an extended centreline to 31 when I know I will be going to 28. Being able to say I know I am actually going to 28 would helpy you line up immensely and I agree with the previous comment about mile markers too. That would be lovely. I promise I won't post any more comments on this but I really think it would be a very good improvement for the airfields with 6 or 8 runways.
